Selection guidance
Construction-stage span without props determines the deck gauge. Use the manufacturer's tables or the engineer's design.
Through-deck stud welding needs suitable galvanizing thickness and qualified welders.
Fire resistance depends on slab depth, reinforcement and protection. Check the design meets Civil Defense requirements.
